All the yes: Sports Illustrated is getting into plus-size swimwear

In not-so shocking news, Sports Illustrated is getting into the world of swimwear

design. In sort of shocking news (that really shouldn’t be shocking at all) Sports
Illustrated swimwear will include plus sizes, baybeeee! Can you believe we don’t
have to wait a couple seasons and get a hashtag going to get inclusion? Sports
Illustrated, you’re doing amazing, sweetie.

In all fairness, SI deserves snaps for making body positive strides in its annual
Swimsuit Issue. Supermodel Ashley Graham covered the Swimsuit Issue last year and
Hunter McGrady graced the 2017 edition.

Sports Illustrated showed off their upcoming collection at Miami Swim Week -a
perfect opportunity to make the debut. There was something for everyone the runway,
a mixture of one-pieces and bikinis in prints, metallics, jewel tones, and pastels.
Created in partnership with RAJ Swim, the full collection of swim and activewear
will be available up to size 20 and shoppable next year.

Here are some of the swimsuits we’re most looking forward to getting our hands on
in ’18.

We’re firm believers that everyone needs a gold swimsuit or two.

This itsy bitsy two-tone situation is a hell yes.

We’ll be hitting the beach once the collection drops, that’s for sure.
